Luodong Sports Park 羅東運動公園
Located in Luodong 羅東, Yilan 宜蘭 County, the 47-hectare Luodong Sports Park is one of Taiwan’s most beautiful urban parks, blending sports facilities with natural landscape design. The popular park features an ecological area and sports facilities, including tennis, basketball, athletics, football, open exercise areas, and cycling and walking paths. Its tree-lined walking trails, ponds, and waterways make it more like a botanical park than a sports park.
The landscape design features an artificial lake, small streams, bridges and viewing platforms.
The Walk
Luodong Sports Park is approximately 3 km or a 10-minute drive west of Luodong Train Station. When you arrive at the park, walk in any direction along the walking paths and take a stroll around the artificial lake to appreciate how well landscape design can integrate with nature and how water features can evoke a sense of peace and tranquility.
