Yanchep Foreshore is a 50-minute drive north of Perth CBD. You get to see the best of Yanchep foreshore if you walk between Compass Circle Lookout in South Yanchep and Yanchep Lagoon Lookout near Yanchep Surf Life Saving Club.
This walk is approximately 2 km one-way on concrete walking paths on the elevated ground providing magnificent unblocked views of the Indian Ocean.
If you start at Compass Circle Lookout, you will walk past Yanchep Dog Exercise Beach, Fishermans Hollow Beach, Yanchep Lagoon Beach, and Yanchep Surf Life Saving Club to get to Yanchep Lagoon Lookout in Yanchep Lagoon Beach Park.
Fishermans Hollow Beach and Yanchep Lagoon Beach
Fishermans Hollow Beach and Yanchep Lagoon Beach are both partially shielded by a natural reef, hence they are both good for swimming in relatively calm water without strong waves.
Yanchep Surf Life Saving Club
The new clubhouse of Yanchep Surf Life Saving Club and Yanchep Lagoon Beach Park, completed in 2017, has transformed this part of Yanchep foreshore.
Feeling energetic and want more? You may continue walking north to Mary Lindsay Lookout at Mary Lindsay Homestead, which is around 600m away.
