Mosman Bay as viewed from Bay View Lookout

Walk by The Swan River: Mosman Bay Foreshore <-> Bay View Park

Mosman Bay Foreshore and Bay View Park are located in the suburb of Mosman Park and are about 30-minute drive west of Perth CBD.

Mosman Bay foreshore is where Mosman Bay Park is located.   This part of the Swan River foreshore is very popular for water activities such as swimming and boating because of the calm water, and for picnicking.

You will find Mosman Bay Boat Ramp at Johnston Parade at the northern end of Mosman Bay Park.

As you walk towards Bay View Park, you will find Mosmans Restaurant over the Swan River.  Mosmans Restaurant is now closed for renovations and re-development into a new restaurant-café with function room and short-stay accommodation.

Swan Canoe Club is just next to Mosmans Restaurant.

From Swan Canoe Club, you will walk uphill past Lower Bay View Park before arriving at Bay View Park.

There is a lookout in the Bay View Park where you will enjoy magnificent views of the Swan River and Mosman Bay, the sandspit extended deep into the Swan River at Point Walter.  You will see Perth CBD approximately 15km away.  Rest and sit on a bench and enjoy the views.

Mosman Bay Foreshore and Bay View Park are on the Mosman Park Heritage Trail.  Want to read more about Mosman Park Heritage Trail?  Check out Mosman Park Heritage Trail webpage.
