From Kowloon Park to China Ferry Terminal Observation Deck, Hong Kong

Hong Kong 香港

With a population of approximately 7.4 million, Hong Kong, a Special Administration Region of China, is one of the most densely populated cities in the world.  It is a free port, transportation hub, and financial centre in the Asia-Pacific region.

Hong Kong is located adjacent to mainland China’s Shenzhen 深圳 across Shenzhen River to the north and connected by the 55km long Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge 港珠澳大桥 to Macau 澳门 and Zhuhai 珠海.

Hong Kong, Macau, Shenzhen, Guangzhou 广州, Foshan 佛山, and Dongguan 东莞, are all major cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area 粤港澳大湾区.  With the Chinese government building many new infrastructures in recent years, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, where many high technology and manufacturing companies are based, is set to be on a rapid development path going forward.

Hong Kong leads the world as the city with the most skyscrapers.  Most of the skyscrapers are located on Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula overlooks Victoria Harbour 维多利亚港, which separates these two central business districts of Hong Kong.  The sparkles of skyscrapers and their light reflections on both sides of Victoria Harbour create spectacular night views that capture the fascination of many tourists around the world.
