North Beach is located between Watermans Bay and Trigg Beach and is also the name of this coastal suburb. Here, you will find beaches that offer calm waters for snorkelling and swimming such as North Beach, Hamersley Pool, and Mettam’s Pool.

West Coast Drive is only a 25-minute drive from Perth CBD. The scenic coastal walk path by West Coast Drive is a popular walking/jogging destination for locals and visitors. The walking path is generally on high ground above sea level thus offers unblocked views of the beautiful Indian Ocean, the reef, the coastal rock formations, and beach activities.

Geraldton foreshore area, just a short stroll from Geraldton city centre, has flat well-connected walk paths from The Esplanade to Batavia Coast Marina Waterfront. You will enjoy the beautiful views of the Indian Ocean and the cool sea breeze while you walk or jog.

Philadelphia was founded in 1682. The USA Declaration of Independence was signed in Philadelphia on 4th July 1776. Therefore this 339-year-old city is older than that of the United States.
It is very easy and convenient to get around using Philadelphia’s subway and above-ground trolley to attractions such as Reading Terminal Market, Chinatown, Independence Hall, Liberty Bell Center, and Love Park.

Mount Henry Bridge Reserve is located right underneath the Mount Henry Bridge by Canning River in the Mount Pleasant suburb, a 15-minute drive south of Perth CBD.
The reserve is a green space with exercise equipment, playground, seating, accessible toilets, and ample parking. This is the perfect park for you to use the exercise equipment while the kids play in the playground.

Jeff Joseph Reserve is a large reserve on the Applecross foreshore, a 25-minute drive south of Perth CBD.
The reserve has plenty of open space and stunning views of the widest section of the Swan River.

Deep Water Point Reserve is located along The Esplanade by Canning River in the suburb of Mount Pleasant, a 20-minute drive south of Perth CBD. The popular reserve has lawned picnic areas under majestic trees and BBQ facilities, a boat ramp, a swimming jetty, a nice beach area, accessible parking, toilet facilities, kids’ favourite play spaces, and the crowd-drawing waterfront Dôme Café.

Burswood Park Public Open Space is the open area between Optus Stadium and Crown Towers that was previously Burswood Park Golf Course. The Open Space has 2 distinct areas divided by Camfield Drive.

Point Resolution Reserve is a large reserve with an area of 8.45 hectares in the suburb of Dalkeith and is a 20-minute drive southwest of Perth CBD. You can walk or jog on the sealed walk/job paths around the grassed parkland in the upper part of the Reserve. If you want to get close to the water, you can take the stairs to get down to the lower part of the Reserve to explore the dirt paths and the beach area.

Freshwater Bay is a 20-minute drive southwest of Perth CBD and is about 5 km upstream from the mouth of the Swan River at Fremantle. The foreshore of Freshwater Bay stretches over 4 suburbs from Dalkeith, Claremont, Peppermint Grove, to Mosman Park.

Claremont Foreshore is a 20-minute drive southwest of Perth CDB. The foreshore area is sheltered within the Freshwater Bay on the Swan River and the water here is calm. Claremont Fishing Jetty linking Claremont Foreshore Reserve is an excellent fishing spot.

Mosman Bay Foreshore and Bay View Park are located in the suburb of Mosman Park and are about 30-minute drive west of Perth CBD. Mosman Bay foreshore is very popular for water activities such as swimming and boating because of the calm water, and for picnicking.

It is relaxing and enjoyable to walk on the pine tree-lined pathway of Safety Bay Foreshore.

The revitalised Rockingham Foreshore which opened in September 2019, has made the beautiful foreshore and beach areas more vibrant and accessible for the enjoyment of both the locals and the visitors.

Shoalwater foreshore is within the Rockingham city and is around 48 km (30 miles) southwest of the Perth CBD and 4 km (2.5 miles) south of Rockingham foreshore.

Whitfords Nodes Park, also known as Hillarys Beach Park, is a beautiful, grassy beachside park by the Indian Ocean.

Boston is a very walkable city. The popular neighbourhoods, scenic districts, and landmarks such as Downtown Boston, Chinatown, Back Bay, Charles River, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and Boston Harbour are all within a 1.5km radius circle.

Driving on the Pacific Coast Highway to explore the Pacific Coast of California near Los Angeles is a good alternative to visiting popular tourist destinations such as the Disneyland Resort, Universal Studio, and Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Swan Regional Riverside Park, alongside the Swan River, combines Woodbridge Riverside Park in Woodbridge suburb, Reg Bond Reserve in Viveash suburb, and the John George walk trail that connects Woodbridge Riverside Park and Reg Bond Reserve.

South Perth foreshore Lakes, located just 50 m away from the Swan River riverbank, offers an opportunity to walk around the scenic and peaceful freshwater lakes for a change if you feel like walking away from the riverbank.

Matilda Bay Reserve is just a 5-minute drive from Perth CBD and is adjacent to the University of Western Australia (UWA) in the Crawley suburb by the Swan River. The reserve is a 1.5km-long thin strip of peaceful grassed parkland with shady trees between Hackett Drive and the Swan River and extends from Mount Bay Road to Pelican Point.

Fishmarket Reserve in the Guildford suburb is located on the bank of the Swan River. The reserve is quite huge with around 400m walk trail lining the riverbank, and largely left in a natural state.

Point Reserve in the Bassendean suburb is located on the bank of the Swan River. The reserve is not huge but it has large native trees and an abundance of wildlife. You may sit on a bench by the river bank, enjoy the picturesque riverview and appreciate the quiet moments.

Champion Lakes is actually the name of a suburb in Perth, in the City of Armadale. The lake is 55-hectare in size, with a 5km sealed pathway that encircles the lake for walking and cycling, jogging.

Canning River Regional Park is very flat, therefore very easy to walk or jog or cycle, as well as for the wheelchairs. If you just want to enjoy a relaxed walk or jog or cycle in the Park, then you can just walk on the sealed and well-signed walking paths. If you are more adventurous, you can walk or jog (unfortunately cycling on the less well-defined trails can be a bit difficult) on the less-well-defined walk trails by the river banks. You choose the distance you want to walk or jog.

Within a 5-minute walk from Perth CBD and by the side of Langley Park, the Riverside Drive walk path between Point Fraser and Elizabeth Quay is a popular walking destination for office workers. Why not? The Swan River foreshore area is a great place to get away from the office for a very light exercise.

Heirisson Island is often overlooked as a walking destination, even though it is just outside Perth city centre. The island is just roughly a 15-minute walk from the city centre.

If you like walking by the river bank just next to the water, walking from JH Abrahams Reserve to Paul Hasluck Reserve allows you to do just that, walking just next to the Swan River. And while walking, you enjoy great unblocked views of the Perth city skyline, and South Perth and Applecross Foreshores over the Swan River.
