Located at a 2.5-hour drive or 230km south of Perth, Busselton is surrounded by an abundance of natural beauty and is the gateway to the Margaret River wine region.

The City of Busselton has a population of just over 40,000.  This coastal city is located on the beautiful Geographe Bay and has more than 30km of immaculate north-facing beaches.    

The City of Busselton has 5 town centres: Busselton, Dunsborough, Vasse, Yallingup, and Eagle Bay.  Other than Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup, and Eagle Bay are also popular tourist attractions.

Busselton Jetty

The iconic Busselton Jetty has been the main draw point of Busselton.  The heritage-listed jetty was originally built in 1865.  At 1.841km long, Busselton Jetty is the longest timber piled jetty in the southern hemisphere. 

Try to walk the full length of the jetty or take the jetty train to the end of the jetty.  

The Jetty is operated, with help of volunteers, by Busselton Jetty Inc., a non-profit community organisation.  Your ticket will contribute to jetty maintenance and conservation.  Want to find out more?  Check out the Busselton Jetty website.

Busselton Foreshore

Busselton foreshore area, where Busselton Jetty is located, has recently been transformed to be a draw point on its own merits with a visitor centre, a nautical-themed playground, an amphitheatre stage, cafés, restaurants, retail outlets, and many other features.  And, there are plenty of carpark spaces offering free and unlimited parking.  

If you have not visited Busselton Jetty in the last 3 years, you should come and find out about the new redevelopment.

The new walking promenades have made walking at the Busselton foreshore an enjoyable experience.  Try to walk at your own pace and distance you can manage, and enjoy the newly transformed Busselton foreshore and the magnificent Indian Ocean at the same time.
