Two Shores Garden (France side: Jardin des Deux-Rives, Germany side: Garten der zwei Ufer) is a public park at the shores of the River Rhine of two countries: France and Germany, between the cities of France’s Strasbourg and Germany’s Kehl.
The two shores are connected by a 250m-long footbridge, Bridge of The Two Shores (Passerelle des Deux Rives).
The 185-hectare East Coast Park, which has a 15 km long coastline with many swimming beaches, is the largest in Singapore, an island nation.
Notably, East Coast Park, opened in the 1970s, is wholly on reclaimed land.
As the name suggests, East Coast Park is in the eastern part of Singapore and is divided into 8 areas, A to H, and extends in the eastern direction from A to H. East Coast Park Area A starts right next to Keppel Marina East Desalination Plant and East Coast Park Area H is located right next to National Service Resort & Country Club.
Beitou Park 北投公园 Beitou Park is located in the Peitou 北投 district, best known for its popular Peitou hot springs 北投溫泉 and being at the southwest entry point of Yangmingshan
Tamsui 淡水 is a seaside district (Tamsui District 淡水区) in New Taipei City 新北市 by the Tamsui River 淡水河 overlooking Taiwan Strait 台湾海峡. Bali District 八里区 can be seen across the Tamsui River northwest of Tamsui.
Even though officially located within New Taipei City, Tamsui is only a 45-minute Taipei MRT 台北捷运 train ride from Taipei city centre. Tamsui is a popular destination for Taiwanese as well as tourists for its Tamsui Old Street 淡水老街 with shops selling all kinds of delicious Taiwanese snacks 台湾小吃. The magnificent views over the Tamsui River, especially in the morning and evening, also draw visitors to Tamsui.
Established in 1903, Taichung Park 台中公园 is Taiwan’s first century-old park and a landmark in Taichung. The park was built by the Japanese during the Japanese-occupied period.
Taichung Park is around 100,000m2 in size and has an artificial lake, called Sun Moon Lake 日月湖 which covers an area of 13,530m2, pavilions, bridges, and landscaped open grass fields, trees, and gardens. Huxin Pavilion 湖心亭 is the pavilion in the centre of Sun Moon Lake 日月湖connected by the adjacent Zhongshan Bridge 中山桥.

Parramatta River starts at the confluence of Darling Mills Creek and Toongabbie Creek just north of Cumberland Hospital. The river flows past Cumberland Hospital and flows through Parramatta Park and River Foreshore Reserve in Parramatta.

Manly Dam is also known as Manly Warringah War Memorial Park. West Lake (西湖) was listed as a World Heritage Site in 2011 by UNESCO and is the only lake heritage site in China. The 6.4 km2 West Lake has a perimeter of around 15km and is actually very shallow, with an average depth of 1.5m. The deepest part of the lake is around 3m.
